Decalogue of good practices for sustainable tourism

Reduce your environmental impact:
• Walk or climb stairs whenever possible.
• Minimize water consumption, use the shower instead of the bathtub.
• Reduce waste generation and recycle correctly.
• Minimize energy consumption whenever possible; if you are not in the room, keep all devices turned off.

Respect local culture:
• Learn some basic words in the local language.
• Be respectful of local community customs and traditions.
• Buy local and artisan products.
• Taste the gastronomy and local products.

Be a responsible tourist:
• Do not disturb the local fauna or flora.
• Do not leave a mark on the environment, never take-home sand from the beach or any geological element. The natural heritage belongs to everyone, and it is our duty to maintain and respect it.
