HIKING
Hotel Hostalillo in Tamariu
The Camí de Ronda is one of the Costa Brava's most emblematic trails and, in August 2014, the section that connects Tamariu with Aigua Xelida was reopened, offering a unique experience for hiking enthusiasts. This route allows you to enjoy spectacular landscapes of cliffs, hidden coves and crystal clear waters along the coast.
Josep Pla, the famous Catalan writer, is one of the people most closely linked to this area. His works describe in detail the landscapes of his homeland, Empordà, where our Hostalillo de Tamariu is located. Although Pla travelled all over Europe, including cities such as Berlin, Paris and Rome, he always maintained a deep attachment to the Costa Brava, especially Palafrugell, where he lived.
Exploring the Camí de Ronda not only allows you to take in the breathtaking views of the sea and the coves, you can also visit places that Pla immortalised in his writings, such as Llafranc, the Far de Sant Sebastià and Calella de Palafrugell. These places, with their beaches and pine forests, are part of the essence that inspired the writer's work.
